Ana G. Alfaro
She serves as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Connecticut Light & Power Company (CL&P) providing families of the Greater Hartford area with an array of community services and programs such as Money Matters, Energy Bingo and Energy Matters. Manage positive media opportunities and performs emergency “on-call” media inquiries.
Ana is also the host of El Show de Analeh, CH18 Univision Network which airs every Saturday at 11:00AM. Prior to launching El Show de Analeh in 2006, she served as a volunteer host for over ten years for Adelante, a public affairs program, produced at NBC Channel 30 in Connecticut. Today, she celebrates a “win-win” production partnership with staff and students at Capital Community College Academic Media Technology, high school students and CH 18 Univision Station.
Ana presently serves as a volunteer in various non-profit organizations in Greater Hartford. She is board of director’s president for Broad Park Development Corporation. She served as a member of the Governor M. Jodi Rell Parole and Sentencing Task Force and is currently a board member of Catholic Charities, First Night, Hartford Guides, Honduras Relief Committee of Connecticut and the Village for Families.
